Summer is coming! The Scranton School District is excited to announce our Summer Academy for students currently enrolled in grades Pre-K to 11. This free program will be held from June 28 - July 29, 2021 on Mondays through Thursdays.
This upcoming Thursday, May 13, Scranton School District officials will host a series of in-person COVID-19/ESSER Funding Community Stakeholder meetings. At these meetings, members of the central administration will provide a brief overview of how the SSD is planning on using our COVID-19/ESSER funding and listen to stakeholder suggestions. This type of meeting is a requirement for federal programs.
This meeting is not a School Board or Financial Recovery Meeting. These sessions are intended to gather community stakeholder feedback to report back to the Superintendent and School Board. They will also fulfill the requirement to demonstrate meaningful consultation with our stakeholders.
The meetings will be held at three locations on Thursday, May 13, at the time and locations below. The meetings will also be recorded and uploaded to the district's YouTube site.
